The Lost Civilisation.

Legend states in the distant reaches of space there was a cybernetic race, known for their fanatical adherence to justice. Their knowledge of nanotechnology, neuro-chemical cybernetics and their religious zealotry was feared throughout the galaxy. Their oppression led to a great war, ending with their destruction. Throughout the ages there have always been whispers of some survivors. Books of history across many civilisations report appearances of robot hunters who fight injustice. An underground guild, who still carry the same code of justice from their ancestors. As the metaverse has evolved, more reports of an underground cybernetic guild have started appearing claiming to be the descendants of this ancient race. Sworn to protect the metaverse from all that would do it harm. They call themselves the Metaverse Bounty Hunters. What do we Know of the Hunters? We know something of the hunters from the few remains which have been discovered. They appear to have an organic consciousness, with time have merged together to form a unique mechanical mainframe. Their cells are combined with multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which form bio-tissues on their cybernetic mainframe structure. The Nucleus is the hunters primary source of power, whilst the Nano Injector acts as a main power core for the Hunters to function.
Technological advancement in all its forms should be protected from any level of corruption and evil. This is why the Bounty Hunters formed a guild, to protect their lost civilisations technology, ensuring that it was kept pure and out of the hands of those who would use the technology for destruction. The Bounty Hunters oath, “Protect the metaverse from all that would do it harm”.
